A mini documentary by Brewery Market, Ross Hamilton and Digital Dave

About The Lost Breweries of Twickenham

Twickenham has always been a brewing town, and it still is today!

For centuries, family-run breweries, bustling alehouses, and on-site brewpubs shaped the town’s identity. From the legendary Cole’s Brewery, which thrived for nearly 300 years, to the long-forgotten taps of Britannia Brewery, Twickenham’s beer history is as rich as its ale.

But what happened to them all? And how did Twickenham Fine Ales (founded 2004) and Jawbone Brewing (founded 2019) bring brewing back to the town after almost a century?

Join us as we uncover Twickenham’s lost breweries in a mini-documentary, tracing their rise, their fall, and the incredible revival that’s happening today.
