As a local videographer in Twickenham, the annual A Taste of Twickenham festival was a common-sense project for Digital Dave to be involved with.
The town of Twickenham is one of London’s most unique locations, with not just one, but two rugby stadiums drawing in crowds of hundreds of thousands during the sporting seasons. It also has a solid music history, citing bands like the Rolling Stones, The Who and Pink Floyd all playing their earliest sets in-town, and more recently, The Mystery Jets.
Local community interest company A Taste of Twickenham is a grassroots organisations whose heart sits solidly within the neighbourhood by putting on delicious food and eclectic music events that bring the public and local businesses together.
Picking A Taste of Twickenham out of the many local organisations to supply videography and photography to was a clear choice.
In 2024, Digital Dave partnered with A Taste of Twickenham to produce the festival promo video, showcasing the many businesses within the borough and celebrating the spirit of the town.
The brief was to highlight the vast amount of activities taking place across the town and breaking down the “Tasting Trail” while introducing the viewer to the dozens of establishments right on their doorstep. Since partnering up, the promo videos remain the highest viewed and most shared content across their social media.
Ongoing relations: A Taste of Twickenham
Seeking a local partner as a solo videographer, A Taste of Twickenham was a perfect choice for Digital Dave – to begin with the foodie aspect, and continue through to the music and performance side.
Digital Dave partnered with A Taste of Twickenham for their 2024 Christmas concert, Twickmas, to film each band’s performance in full at The Cabbage Patch pub.
In addition, each band was supplied with reels for their social media to further promote themselves to new audience.
